Privacy

Last updated 7 October 2026

This page explains what happens to your information when you visit the Aperitivo website. The short version is that this site collects nothing about you itself, and the one piece of it that involves another company is the map.

What this site collects

Nothing. There are no forms on this site, no accounts, no newsletter, and no analytics of any kind. We set no cookies ourselves, and we use no tracking pixels, session recording, or advertising tags.

The type is served from this site's own server rather than from Google Fonts, so loading a page does not hand your IP address to a font provider. The photographs and the short clip behind the heading on the home page are also served from this site.

The embedded map

The Visit section of the home page contains a Google Maps frame. That frame is loaded from Google, so when it loads Google receives your IP address and basic request information and may set its own cookies, all under the Google Privacy Policy rather than this one. We do not receive anything from it.

The map is set to load only as you scroll near it, and the full address, phone number and hours are given as plain text beside it, so nothing on the page is available only through Google. If you would rather the map were not there at all, say so and we will replace it with a plain link.

Other places a link can take you

Phone and email links simply open your own phone or mail app. What you then send comes directly to the restaurant and is handled like any other guest conversation: we use it to answer you, to hold your reservation, and nothing else. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Your rights under Colorado law

We would rather state this accurately than overclaim. The Colorado Privacy Act applies to a business that controls or processes the personal data of at least 100,000 Colorado consumers in a year, or at least 25,000 Colorado consumers while deriving revenue from selling personal data. A single restaurant does not meet either threshold, so the Act does not impose its obligations here.

That is a statement about which law applies, not a reason to hold anything back. Since this site collects nothing, there is no profile to access, correct, delete, or port, and nothing is sold or shared for targeted advertising. If you have emailed or called us and want that correspondence deleted, ask and we will delete it.

Cookie banner

There is none, because this site sets no non-essential cookie of its own. No United States state law requires an opt in banner, and a banner that asks permission for nothing would be theatre. The one third party that can set a cookie here is the Google Maps frame, described above.

Global Privacy Control

A number of states require sites to honour the Global Privacy Control signal. This site performs no selling and no targeted advertising, so there is no opt out to apply. The signal is respected by default because there is nothing for it to switch off.

Children

This site describes a restaurant and is not directed at children. No information is knowingly collected from anyone.

Changes

If the site later adds a contact form, a reservation system, or analytics, this page will be updated before that feature goes live, and the date at the top will change.
